English Path is a rapidly growing international language school delivering immersive English, French, and German learning experiences across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. We are currently seeking a Student Experience Officer in London. As a Student Experience Officer, your role is to support all aspects of the student journey, from pre-arrival through to departure, ensuring students receive a high-quality experience throughout their time at English Path.
About the Role
The Student Experience Officer is a highly student-focused operational role and one of the main points of contact for students, agents, accommodation providers, host families and visitors at English Path Stratford. The role has a particular focus on accommodation coordination and host family onboarding, helping ensure students are placed in safe, suitable and welcoming accommodation environments in line with English Path standards and British Council expectations. Note: This role is based fully On-site.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Support and enhance the overall student experience from pre-arrival to departure
- Act as a key contact for student welfare, accommodation and general enquiries
- Coordinate student arrivals, inductions, departures and airport transfers
- Manage accommodation bookings and support relationships with host families and providers
- Resolve student welfare, safeguarding and accommodation concerns professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate student, accommodation and compliance records using internal systems
- Monitor attendance, student feedback and engagement to improve student satisfaction
- Support safeguarding, British Council compliance and health & safety procedures
- Assist with social activities, excursions and wider operational administration
- Provide professional front-line support via email, phone and in person, including during peak periods and emergency rota cover
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, accommodation, education or student services is required. Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is desirable. Experience with accommodation or host family coordination is desirable. Excellent administrative and organisational skills are necessary. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is important. A professional, approachable and student-focused manner is expected. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability is required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems is necessary. Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare practices is desirable.
