Overview

Are you an experienced Site Carpenter with a joinery/shop fitter background searching for a new opportunity? Would you like to join a professional company with an excellent reputation? English Oak Buildings is expanding its team due to many new and exciting future projects. We are looking for a fully employed oak frame glazing fitter, as well as providing you with Oak Framing experience where available.

Job Responsibilities

The primary role will be the fitting of our specialist, market-leading, Oak Framed fixed glazing system. Our system uses the highest grade, re-sawn seasoned oak, resulting in the highest quality finish. We are very proud to be the market leaders offering the best product and guarantee. The candidate will also work as an oak framer (training supplied) as and when required.

Applicant Qualities

  • General carpentry skills, ideally with a background in joinery and/or shopfitting.
  • Understanding of construction drawings and general building practices.
  • Willing to be on site, working away.
  • Clear communication skills with clients and colleagues are essential.
  • Ability to confidently talk to clients in a positive and professional manner.
  • Desirable certificates - CSCS site card, working at heights (not essential).
  • A valid UK Driving licence (with zero or minimal offences).
  • Good team player and professional.
