We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Running Props Technician to support the smooth delivery of rehearsals and performances. Working closely with senior staff, you'll help prepare, maintain, and operate props, ensuring every production runs seamlessly from rehearsal room to stage. This hands-on role involves setting and tracking props, assisting with scene changes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring backstage areas remain organised, safe, and performance-ready. You'll be adaptable, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced live theatre environment where no two days are the same. Requirements
- Previous professional theatre experience in a prop capacity and an excellent understanding of current theatre practice
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with colleagues and staff at all levels
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently, under minimum supervision
- A proactive, flexible, collaborative and conscientious approach to work with an open mind to new or different ways of working
- Excellent punctuality and a professional attitude
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
