Head of Facilities Management

Salary: £60,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, 5 Days per week (35 hours). Out of hours and on calls expected; with attendance at Opening Nights and Special Events as required Location: London Coliseum & occasional homeworking We are recruiting a Head of Facilities Management to take responsibility for running Facilities at the London Coliseum and other sites operated by the English National Opera. This role manages our in-house Facilities Manager and oversees outsourced hard and soft service contracts that provide Maintenance, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services and Housekeeping. The role has a substantial project management and coordination function overseeing ongoing major capital project works on the fabric of the building. Requirements: At least 5 Years management experience in similar Facilities Management role in Hard and Soft Services ideally within a public venue, arts venue, theatre or similar. Experience of managing and working with Facilities teams within a listed heritage building and understand associated legislation. Proven track record of managing outsourced FM contracts in both hard and soft services. Hold (or actively working towards) professional qualifications in Facilities Management ideally at Degree or Diploma Level (at least Level 5) with demonstrated continued professional development.
