Position: Permanent - two shift pattern

Salary: £28,142 to £31,022 per annum

Our vibrant secondary school is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Premises Officer to make a real difference to the environment that our students learn in. Our school is highly successful, our catchment draws from the west side of Leicester. We have strong Catholic values and pride ourselves on our care and commitment to all. Our governing body and the Principal are looking for an exceptional person to complement our existing site team. Who will support ensuring the site and premises are safe, secure and well organised to enable our students to have the very best learning environment.

We will offer the successful applicant a happy, welcoming and supportive team where everyone is committed to staff development and raising standards for all in an enjoyable and purposeful environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure our learning environment is to a required standard to enhance teaching and learning
  • Be responsible for our site security and access
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance
  • Complete checks for Health and Safety compliance
  • Assist with porterage to ensure that the school environment stays safe, clean and operational

  • A reliable professional who can manage site security, carry out general DIY and maintenance, ensure strict health and safety compliance, and support daily school operations to keep the learning environment safe and welcoming.
  • Someone who is able to communicate effectively with all users of our site.
