We are looking for a Visitor Welcome Manager to join our team. The role is permanent and full time on 36 hours per week.

This Visitor Welcome Manager role at the iconic Whitby Abbey is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual passionate about engaging with the public and driving results. If you are a natural leader with a knack for sales, exceptional customer service skills, and a desire to contribute to the success of a significant historic site, this role offers a unique chance to lead a team, implement innovative strategies, and play a key part in shaping the visitor experience at one of English Heritage\’s most important locations.
As Visitor Welcome Manager, you will lead a membership-sales culture at one of English Heritage\’s busiest sites. You\’ll have experience from membership sales and coaching your team to exceed their targets.
Your responsibilities include leading the team to exceed membership targets and contributing to the overall commercial success of this historically significant site.
Ability/availability to work on a 5/7 day roster, which may include evenings, on-call duties, and Bank Holidays.
