It can make us happier, strengthen every community, and help shape society for the better. Everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits it brings.
We are looking for a Marketing Content Producer to join our team. The role is full-time and for a fixed term of 12 months, working 36 hours per week.
Our team deliver engaging and inspiring content that sits across both printed and digital channels. Within this role, you will be producing web pages and content for the English Heritage website, weekly podcast and YouTube channel, including content for children and younger audiences. The role is varied, and you will have lots of opportunity to show your creative flair in creating inspiring, informative and attractive web pages, as well as researching, writing and commissioning articles and images, and planning and attending film and photo shoots.
The Benefits:
- Salary from £37,863, depending on skills, experience and location
- Matched pension contributions up to 10%
- Flexible and hybrid working (min of 1 day in Swindon per week)
- The opportunity to progress your career within the heritage sector
- Subscriptions to professional bodies
- Free access to all English Heritage sites for you and up to six friends and family members
- 25% discount in our shops and cafes
- An inclusive working atmosphere where everybody is supported from all backgrounds, religions and with different needs
- Opportunities to go to some of our great sites and events
A primary focus of the role will be overseeing the delivery of the weekly podcast with an external agency, so experience in podcast production and relationship management would be an advantage. The role also specifically looks after children's printed and online content, so you will need to be confident in adapting style and tone of voice.
Engaging with members of the wider English Heritage team, you will identify opportunities for the promotion of these articles, for example on our social media channels and within our fortnightly Members' newsletters. Strong stakeholder management will be one of your key assets.
You will be a team player with creative insights and vision and you will thrive in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment. You will be passionate about using our content to attract visitors to our website - and ultimately the places within our care.
This is a fixed term maternity cover, working full-time Monday to Friday. While the position is a hybrid role, you will be expected to work from the Swindon office once a week (usually on a Wednesday).
If successful, you will be invited to interview in Swindon week commencing 23rd February, with the view to starting in post on 13th April.
If you would like to talk to us about workplace adjustments or working patterns, please contact Tersia Boorer, Senior Content Marketing Manager.
