As a Visitor Volunteer you will help us bring Medieval Merchant's House to life by welcoming all our visitors and providing information on the site’s history and the surrounding areas. You will also help us to engage the local community and encourage people to visit time and time again.
We aim to build a community of friendly volunteers who have an interest and enthusiasm for Medieval Merchant's House. You may enjoy meeting new people, have a love for storytelling and share a love for history, or simply wish to help.
Medieval Merchant's House is open April-October, Friday- Sunday. Whether you can give a lot or a little of your time we have flexible sessions available. Peak visitor times are 10am-3pm. We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments we can provide for you. We provide a uniform and induction to the role.
