The ambition of the England Netball Performance Pathway is to develop athletes capable of thriving on the international stage and to create a sustainable pipeline of world-class talent for the Vitality Roses. The NXT Roses programme plays a pivotal role in this ambition by bridging the gap between domestic performance and senior international netball, preparing athletes for the demands of the Roses environment.

The role provides an excellent opportunity for coaches aspiring to work in the international performance pathway. Through collaboration, mentoring, observation and reflective practice, the successful candidate will further develop their coaching capability while making a meaningful contribution to the progression of England's future international athletes.

As the domestic game continues to evolve through the Netball Super League and the NXT Gen competition, the NXT Roses programme plays an increasingly important role in aligning standards across the performance pathway and preparing athletes for the technical, tactical, physical and behavioural demands of representing England.

The successful candidate will join a passionate and ambitious team committed to developing both athletes and coaches, helping to build the depth, quality and resilience required for England Netball's long-term international success. The NXT Roses Assistant Coach will play a key role in accelerating athlete progression through the England pathway.

Working closely with the Roses Pathway Head Coach, they will contribute to programme delivery, athlete selection, individual development and competition preparation, creating challenging learning environments that support athletes to maximise their potential and progress towards Roses A and Vitality Roses representation.
