Role Summary
Temporary support for the delivery of England Athletics National Championships during the summer. Report to the Head of Competition & Partnerships.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Assist with the collection, loading and unloading of event equipment from Sheffield storage.
- Support the transportation of equipment to event locations, including Bedford and other UK venues.
- Support the set‑up and pack‑down of event infrastructure.
- Assist with general event‑day operations to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers to deliver high‑quality events.
- Be a reliable and enthusiastic individual with an interest in events, sport or operations.
- Be practical, proactive, flexible with long days and weekends.
- Be based within travelling distance of Sheffield, have your own transport and ability to travel independently to event locations.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Previous experience in events or volunteering is beneficial, as is a passion for sport and grassroots delivery.

September (provisional): 3rd–5th
You must be available for a selection of the following dates (maximum 13 days total). Event dates are fixed and non‑negotiable.
