We are seeking a creative, ambitious and highly adaptable Digital Content Producer to help shape the future of England Cricket content. This role will play a key part in delivering the ECB’s social and digital strategy by creating bold, audience‑first content that grows fandom and elevates the profile of the England Men’s Cricket team and its players. Working mainly within the England Men’s team environment, this role will play a crucial role in our storytelling across multiple digital touchpoints. You will create and publish content across social, web and app platforms, helping us connect with audiences through high‑quality, platform‑native content production.

YOU’LL BE DOING

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Producing engaging, platform‑native content for our England Men’s team.
  • Creating content that gives fans greater access to players, coaches and behind‑the‑scenes environments.
  • Developing content plans across key ECB content pillars including live match moments, player storytelling, official news, skills and community stories.
  • Spotting and creating reactive content opportunities around trending moments, conversations and cultural moments.
  • Capturing, editing and publishing short‑form video, graphics and written content across owned and operated channels.

Matchday & Tour Coverage

  • Supporting England Men’s coverage across matches, training sessions and overseas tours.
  • Publishing match updates, live clips, highlights, interviews and storytelling content across England Cricket channels during matches and tours.
  • Producing fast‑turnaround reactive content under pressure while maintaining editorial accuracy and brand tone.

Audience Growth

  • Helping deliver audience‑first content designed to grow reach, engagement and relevance with existing and new audiences.
  • Creating platform‑native content tailored to our target audiences.
  • Supporting the growth of younger and more diverse audiences through innovative storytelling approaches.

Collaboration & Planning

  • Working collaboratively across Communications & Content, Marketing, Commercial and Production teams.
  • Supporting content planning and campaign ideation around major tournaments, tentpole moments and strategic priorities.
  • Building strong relationships with England Men’s players, coaches and support staff to create trust and unlock authentic storytelling opportunities.

Performance & Insight

  • Using analytics, audience insight and social listening to improve content performance.
  • Supporting a culture of experimentation, learning and continuous improvement across the content team.

Please note that this role is office based and requires you to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Experience creating and publishing content for social media platforms and digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of social‑first storytelling and short‑form video.
  • The ability to work independently to create first‑class content (Ideation > capture > edit > publication > quality control).
  • Experience in filming and using editing tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and mobile editing apps.
  • Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in fast‑moving live sport environments.
  • Understanding of platform trends, internet culture and audience behaviours.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative and positive mindset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and overseas travel for winter tours.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working in elite sport, entertainment or media environments.
  • Knowledge and passion for cricket.
  • Experience working with athletes, talent or creators.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, publishing systems and analytics tools.
