Women\’s Performance Squad Assistant Coach – Paid

St. Albans Hockey Club are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic coach to expand their Women’s Performance Squad Coaching team. This is a paid role at a competitive rate according to the experience of the successful candidate and their level of involvement. As well as the competitive pay, another key attraction of this role is the opportunity to work with, and be mentored by, highly experienced coaches and coach educators in Martin Langston and Shenarda Dedic. Both of whom have international coaching and managerial experience alongside national league coaching and playing careers. For any coach looking to further their career and skills this is an invaluable and exciting prospect.

The successful candidate will be the Women’s 2nd Team Head Coach and work collaboratively with the Head of Performance Development and Head of Performance Squad to help drive the vision and strategy for the 2s’ squad and the Performance Squad members. The role will include responsibility for session planning and talented youth development within the high-performance environment already established at St. Albans.

An applicable England Hockey coaching qualification or equivalent is required, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Performance Squad and Women’s 2s train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 – 9:30pm and the Women’s 2s play in the East Premier Division.

We are willing to offer flexibility to the right candidate whether this is coaching from the sidelines or leading from the pitch.
