Coaching Opportunity: Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s 1st XI – University Hockey

We are looking for passionate and experienced coaches to lead our Men’s and Women’s 1st XI teams for the 2025/26 season.

About the Role:
We are seeking a coach to take on the role of Head Coach for our Men’s and Women’s 1st XI squads. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to work with competitive university hockey teams, supporting player development and driving performance on and off the pitch.

Commitment:

Training nights: Monday and Friday evenings
Match days: Primarily BUCS Wednesdays (attendance not essential)
Remuneration:
Competitive payment provided by the university

What We’re Looking For:

Experience coaching at performance level (university, club, or higher)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging training sessions
England Hockey coaching qualifications (or working towards them)
Location:
Training and matches based at the university’s sports facilities (Coach Lane, Newcastle)
