We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Men’s Hockey Coach to help drive the development of our men’s section and support the continued growth of the club.
Addiscombe HC is an inclusive, supportive and competitive hockey club based in South London, Croydon with four men's and three ladies' teams playing in the South East League, along with a huge junior section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality coaching to our 4 men's teams.
- Lead evening training sessions each week (Wednesday 8.00 - 9.30pm) from September through to April.
- Develop players of varying abilities in a positive, inclusive environment.
- Work with the club committee and captains to support player development and team performance.
About You:
- Experienced hockey coach with strong communication skills.
- Passionate about developing players and building a positive club culture.
- Reliable, organised, and able to motivate players of all standards.
- Relevant coaching & safeguarding qualifications (ideally Level 2) and DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
- Club stash, club membership and further coaching qualifications all paid for by the Club.
