Beacon Hockey Club is seeking a dedicated Ladies 1st Team Coach for the upcoming 2025/26 season. We\’re a vibrant and ambitious club, committed to developing our players and achieving success on the pitch.

Job Description:
As our Ladies 1st Team Coach, you will be responsible for leading and developing our top women\’s squad. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within our club, fostering both individual player growth and collective team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Delivery: Design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions that enhance technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
- Match Day Leadership: Lead the team on match days, including pre-game preparation, in-game tactical adjustments and post-match analysis.
- Player Development: Foster a positive and challenging environment that encourages individual player development, goal setting, and performance improvement.
- Team Strategy: Work with the team captain and club leadership to develop and implement a clear playing style and season objectives, to support our 2nd team and junior girls development setup.
About You:
- A strong passion for hockey and a desire to inspire players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop players of varying ages and abilities.
- Organised and committed to long-term player and team progression.
- Coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential – we value enthusiasm and potential.
- Experience in coaching women\’s hockey is a plus, but we encourage applications from all backgrounds.
- Open to a player/coach role for suitable candidates who wish to contribute on and off the pitch.
