We are currently recruiting for an experienced Passive Fire Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial passive fire protection projects across London and Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering high-quality passive fire protection solutions across a range of commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Passive Fire Protection projects from pre-start through to completion.
  • Oversee large-scale commercial fire stopping installations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and main contractors, maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Carry out regular site visits, quality inspections and progress meetings.
  • Ensure all works comply with current fire safety regulations, specifications and certification requirements.
  • Review RAMS, site documentation and health & safety procedures.
  • Produce project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Manage project handovers and close-out documentation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager within the Passive Fire Protection industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fire stopping systems and installation methods.
  • Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and programme management experience.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Experience managing intumescent paint spraying projects.
  • Knowledge of fire doors, cavity barriers and compartmentation works.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
  • FIRAS or IFC-related knowledge and certification experience.
