The Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator supports the delivery of recruitment and onboarding activities for our self-employed drivers. This role focuses on coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding administration, handling candidate queries, and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview Coordination & Support
- Arrange interviews for shortlisted candidates
- Conduct structured interviews in line with guidance and set criteria
- Accurately record interview outcomes and feedback
- Escalate any concerns or queries where appropriate
- Onboarding Administration
- Collect and organise candidate compliance documentation
- Check documents for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records
- Support the onboarding process by ensuring all required steps are completed
- Induction Support
- Schedule candidates onto induction sessions
- Assist with the delivery of inductions, ensuring materials and attendance are managed
- Support new starters with basic queries during onboarding
- Candidate Queries & Systems
- Manage and respond to candidate queries via ticketing systems (e.g. HubSpot) including phone calls and emails
- Provide timely, accurate, and helpful responses
- Escalate more complex issues where required
- Keep records of interactions up to date within the system
- Recruitment Events & Projects
- Support the team at recruitment events, open days, and assessment sessions
- Welcome candidates and assist with registration and logistics
- Provide a friendly and professional first point of contact
- Support with projects as and when required
- Candidate Experience
- Maintain regular communication with candidates, providing updates and guidance
- Ensure all interactions are professional, timely, and supportive
- Help create a positive and engaging candidate journey
