As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers! We’re not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo.
Our Core team is at the heart of the Monzo experience, building the products and features millions of customers rely on every day. We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to drive strategic partnerships that enhance our Core banking features including subscriptions, accounts, and new bets like Monzo Mobile. You will be pivotal in identifying, building, and managing relationships with partners that strengthen our Core propositions in the UK and beyond as we expand. From creating compelling value propositions to scaling existing partnerships, you’ll work cross-functionally to deliver impactful collaborations that align with Monzo’s mission and growth ambitions.
You’ll play a key role by:
- Developing and delivering a partnership strategy that supports the growth of Monzo’s core banking products and aligns with customer needs and business goals.
- Identifying and securing strategic partnerships with trusted, well-known brands that create meaningful value for our paying customers.
- Leading commercial negotiations and contract discussions with new and existing partners, building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Scaling and optimising existing partnerships through data-driven insights, performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Analysing customer behaviour and commercial performance to identify the highest-impact partnership opportunities.
- Building strong relationships across Product, Marketing, Data Science, Design and Operations to seamlessly bring partnerships to life.
- Managing partnerships from initial idea through implementation, optimisation and long-term success.
We’d love to hear from you if…
- You have a proven track record in partnerships, business development or growth, ideally within banking, fintech or technology.
- You have experience building and scaling B2B and B2C partnerships that deliver measurable commercial and customer impact.
- You’re highly analytical and confident using data to inform decisions, identify opportunities and influence strategy.
- You’re an excellent communicator and relationship builder who can collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and can navigate technical, commercial and operational challenges with confidence.
