At Algolia, we’re proud to be a pioneer and market leader in AI Search, empowering 17,000+ businesses to deliver blazing-fast, predictive search and browse experiences at internet scale.

Every week, we power over 30 billion search requests — four times more than Microsoft Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, Yandex, and Duck Duck Go combined.

In 2021, we raised $150 million in Series D funding, quadrupling our valuation to $2.25 billion.

This strong foundation enables us to keep investing in our market-leading platform and serving incredible customers like Under Armour, Pet Smart, Stripe, Gymshark, and Walgreens.

The Mission

Your product mission is to make Algolia the builder-first platform for agentic applications.

Agent Studio empowers developers and business users to compose retrieval, memory, workflows, tools, and evaluation in one place - then ship those workflows to production with confidence.

You will equip customers with the ability to go from prototype to production quickly, reliably, and with governance built in.

The Opportunity

As a Staff Product Manager at Algolia, you will shape the vision and execution of Agent Studio, the front door to Algolia’s Agentic Platform.

This role is critical in defining how Algolia becomes the default environment for building, evaluating, and scaling agent workflows.

You will collaborate across engineering, design, product marketing, and GTM to deliver impactful results, multiply the impact of other PMs, and contribute directly to the company’s long-term success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive product discovery to define the who, why, and what of Agent Studio.
  • Formulate, align, and communicate the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Agent Studio across the organization.
  • Define the abstraction layers (workflow blocks, memory & tool adapters, eval harnesses, guardrails) that let developers and business users build reliably.
  • Mock up concepts, write functional specs, cut tickets, draft copy : whatever it takes to push the product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Partner deeply with engineers, designers, and other PMs to ship delightful, powerful builder experiences.
  • Shape agile processes and foster team dynamics that encourage continuous learning, rapid prototyping, and eval-driven iteration.
  • Build and scale an evaluation culture (offline + online): golden sets, regressions, quality metrics, and ship gates.
  • Use analytical and quantitative skills to track adoption, cost, latency, and quality managing the business by the numbers.
  • Stay ahead of the competitive landscape (agent frameworks, eval platforms, orchestration tools) and identify strategic partnerships to strengthen the ecosystem.
  • Engage directly with customers and design partners to validate real-world agentic workflows.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and shipping developer-first platforms, tools, or APIs.
  • Demonstrated success in shipping and iterating products within an agile development environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to launch and scale products.
  • Strong ability to frame technical and business problems, craft strategies, and deliver simple solutions.
  • Deep curiosity and user empathy for both developers and business users.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

What would make you stand out

  • Expertise in agentic workflows, retrieval (keyword, vector, hybrid), memory, or orchestration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with LLM evaluation, telemetry, governance, and provenance.
  • Technical background with hands‑on coding experience (for fun, school, or work).
  • Experience in or strong understanding of e Commerce, content‑heavy use cases, or media workflows.
  • Proven experience in designing workflow automation or builder tools that empower teams and enhance productivity.
