We're on a mission to make money work for everyone. We're waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers! We're not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo.
Our team has grown into one of the UK's leading digital banks, serving millions of customers with products spanning personal banking, business banking, savings, investments, pensions and borrowing. As we continue to scale, expand our product offering and international footprint, attracting exceptional senior leadership talent has never been more important. The leaders we hire today will shape Monzo for years to come. This role exists to ensure we continue to build one of the strongest leadership teams in financial services.
As Director of Board & Executive Hiring, you'll lead the team responsible for hiring Monzo's most senior leaders across Vice President, General Manager, Executive Committee and Board appointments. You'll partner directly with the Board, Executive Committee and senior People leaders to build the leadership teams that will take Monzo through its next stage of growth.
You'll personally lead on some of our most business-critical, confidential and high-impact Board, C-suite and Executive searches, while leading a high-performing team delivering exceptional leadership hiring across the business. Together, you'll ensure every senior leadership hire reflects the quality, ambition and pace of Monzo. This is a highly strategic, high-trust role. You'll spend as much time empowering your team, aligning complex stakeholder groups and shaping long-term leadership plans as you do leading executive searches yourself.
Success in this role requires judgement, exceptional relationship management and the ability to influence at the very highest levels of the organisation. This isn't a traditional executive recruitment role. You'll be a trusted adviser to the Board, Executive Committee and Chief People Officer, helping shape the leadership decisions that define Monzo's future. From organisational design and succession planning to executive hiring strategy and leadership capability, you'll influence far more than individual hiring decisions.
It's a rare opportunity to combine executive search, strategic leadership, coaching and organisational influence in one role - shaping not only who joins Monzo, but how the company grows to support our customers and achieve our mission.
