Build the manufacturing test solutions that help every Graphcore system perform as designed.
This role exists to ensure our hardware is tested thoroughly from product introduction through to volume manufacturing.
Your work will improve product quality and manufacturing confidence.
You will design and develop test software for advanced computing systems.
You will work closely with hardware engineers, software teams, and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable test solutions.
You'll solve challenging hardware and software problems using data, engineering judgement, and close collaboration across the business.
The team and culture
The Product Test and Diagnosis team finds, understands, and manages hardware defects across chips, boards, and complete systems.
The team supports products throughout manufacturing and into the field.
Day to day, you\'ll work closely with hardware design, software, silicon, and manufacturing teams. Decisions are driven by evidence, test results, and root cause analysis.
You\'ll take ownership of your work while sharing knowledge with colleagues and manufacturing partners.
Everyone is expected to contribute ideas that improve product quality and test coverage.
What we\'re looking for
Essential
- Experience in manufacturing test of advanced electronic systems. Good understanding of the fundamentals of electronics.
- Experience with Python, C/C++, Bash, and Git.
- Experience using the Linux command line.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams such as software, silicon design and hardware design. Ability to solve problems in complex electronic systems.
