VOID properties as part of a busy social housing contract. Based from our Walton-on-Thames office, you'll help bring empty homes back to a high standard for new residents.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carrying out repair, renewal, and reinstatement works within void properties .
  • Completing a variety of carpentry and multi-trade tasks to prepare homes for re-let.
  • Advising your Supervisor when additional trades are required.
  • Working independently or alongside other operatives to complete void refurbishments.
  • Completing daily work sheets detailing tasks completed and materials used.
  • Ensuring all works are finished productively, safely, and to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • NVQ L2 in Carpentry or similar trade qualification.
  • Proven experience in carpentry and multi-trade work, preferably within voids or social housing.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude and commitment to maintaining property standards.
