Strategic Partner Manager, Global Selling
DESCRIPTION
Are you looking to join a community of professionals that support the growth of Selling Partners’ businesses from a local to an international level? Amazon is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Strategic Partner Manager to be a part of our Strategic Team within the UK to US/EU Global Selling organization in UK Marketplace. As part of this team’s remit, you will be piloting a new program to cross-launch selling partners and drive global expansion into key regions.
The Strategic Partner Manager will engage with senior executives, managing the end-to-end global expansion of the largest UK Selling Partners into the US and/or EU. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple internal Amazon departments and will drive the success of this new program reporting back to senior stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Strategic Partner Manager:
- Own pitches to senior executives to recruit the largest Amazon UK Selling Partners into Europe and the US.
- Account manage the most successful UK Global Selling Partners.
- Partner with AWS, Amazon Advertising, AMPS, Lending, Public Policy and PR.
- Scale high priority Global Selling projects across locales to drive total business performance.
- Shape the strategy of this new AGS Strategic Selling Partner role.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent.
- Experience in account management, whether in ecommerce or another relevant industry.
- Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with ecommerce, retail technology or SaaS industries.
- Prior experience working with Amazon Seller tools, products and programs, ideally in a dedicated account manager capacity.
- Creative problem-solving skills and passion for developing innovative solutions on behalf of the customer.
