The AmFlex EU team is looking for an analytical, results-oriented person to own and drive improvements in pricing and capacity planning space. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing strategy and execution, capacity planning for Flex in order to deliver on goals spanning cost, fill, speed and DP experience, and driving automation and innovation in this area with our tech partners.
This is a highly visible and critical role that requires partnering with a cross-disciplinary team of program managers, ops managers, marketing managers, data scientists, engineers, product managers, finance partners and executives across businesses. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. Bias for action and dive deep is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results. You must have sound business judgment and the ability to think strategically with a long-term vision about this fast-growing space, while being able to execute on tactical details.
This role requires a high level of writing, judgement, influence, and ownership. You will lead with data to persuade others, own and develop strategic partnerships with internal and external customers. This means, you must be an excellent communicator and write engaging narratives and present them effectively. You will be required to routinely build from the ground up and deliver the right things with limited guidance.
Key job responsibilities:- Own Cost per paid hour metric.
- Own the pricing strategy across businesses and execute configurations to deliver the same.
- Drive leadership alignment on pricing updates at a regular cadence.
- Bridge Cost Per Paid Hour in daily, weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Drive automation / process improvement / cost initiatives.
- Own the 13-week and long-term capacity planning cycles based on volume plans published by the business partner teams of Amazon Flex.
- Optimize for cost, fill, customer experience and DP experience.
- Interact with senior-level audiences (including directors and vice presidents) from both internal and external teams.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
- Intermediate level SQL skills.
- Python, Data Science.
