Responsibilities
- Follow our Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity and due diligence, with specific risk responsibilities.
- Ensure all Tesco sites are safe and operational environments for customers and colleagues.
- Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fixes, maximising productivity and effectiveness.
- Deliver high-quality work standards across the estate with continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
- Use problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for common issues.
- Own tasks locally through to completion, informing stakeholders as needed.
- Engage in personal development and progression within the maintenance pathway.
- Use business systems to support asset lifecycle management and best practices in WON reporting.
- Represent the Tesco brand by demonstrating values-led behaviours, a positive attitude, and pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
- Participate in local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship, trade proficiency test, or relevant trade experience.
- Basic diagnostics skills, including PCB/Microprocessor/HMI controlled systems and equipment.
- Basic working knowledge of electrical safety circuits, fault finding, and replacement.
- Full driving licence.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365.
Relevant Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
- Digital confidence in operating mobile devices and business systems.
