AWS is seeking an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect specializing in security solutions for enterprise customers across the United Kingdom. You'll be instrumental in driving the adoption of AWS Security services while helping organizations achieve their security and performance goals through innovative architectures. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS Security services and enterprise-grade implementation strategies. We are looking for technical experts passionate about working with organizations to help them innovate and transform through comprehensive security and computing solutions. You'll work directly with a diverse range of customers to help them make optimal technical decisions in their security services journey, balancing innovation with practical constraints and compliance requirements. You'll have the opportunity to build enduring relationships with these organizations and establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor in the security and services space.

Key job responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive AWS security architectures adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on AWS security services including IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Shield, and WAF.
• Conduct security assessments and develop remediation strategies for enterprise customers.
• Create and review security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Assist customers in achieving compliance with regulatory standards (GDPR, PCI, ISO, etc.).
• Develop security automation solutions and infrastructure as code templates.
• Perform threat modelling and security incident response planning.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• Experience developing technology solutions and guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Cloud Security Architecture: Expertise in IAM, encryption (KMS), network security, VPC design, and implementation of cloud security controls and guardrails.
• Advanced Threat Protection: Proficiency in security monitoring, logging, DDoS protection, WAF configuration, and container/serverless security.
• Security Automation and DevSecOps: Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform), security automation, and orchestration to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
