Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, your role will encompass the planning, designing, and execution of comprehensive testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll meticulously plan, design, and execute tests in close collaboration with our product teams, gaining a deep understanding of project requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define test objectives, scope, including the functional and non-functional aspects of the software ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards.
  • Identify and prioritise test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-leading automation tools and frameworks.
  • Identify suitable areas for test automation and work closely with product and project teams to determine the most effective automation strategy.
  • Using Azure Dev Ops test plans, prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports, ensuring these are accurate and timely.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

About You:

  • Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Proven experience in conducting both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, APIs, and usability testing.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts across complex integrated systems to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Knowledge of low code test automation tools and frameworks, such as SmartBear Test Complete.
  • A background working within agile product teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
