Job Introduction

The Procurement team is transforming to become a strategic enabler. The Procurement Enablement function will play a key role in this transformation, focusing on systems used by procurement and stakeholders.

The Senior Procurement Enablement Manager for Systems & Tools will lead the deployment and development of procurement systems strategy, working closely with senior leadership and other teams to align practices and opportunities.

This role is part of the procurement enablement leadership team, contributing to strategy and team culture to foster high performance.

Main Responsibilities

Objectives for the FTC include:

• Developing a strategic procurement technology roadmap supporting BBC transformation.
• Managing the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software across BBC.
• Reviewing and improving P2P buying channels (SAP Ariba).
• Developing solutions for third-party risk management, FRC compliance, and sustainability.
• Supporting the professional development of the internal systems & tools team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and improving procurement systems for efficiency and adoption.
• Developing systems strategy aligned with technology roadmaps and future upgrades.
• Managing relationships with system providers, ensuring service levels and enhancements.
• Training staff to maximize system use and digitalization.
• Leading and mentoring a small enablement team, fostering growth and succession.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure best practices and process alignment.
• Staying informed on industry trends and integrating best practices into strategy.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience with procurement systems like SAP Ariba, Jaggaer.
• Strong understanding of procurement, finance, and ERP system integration.
• Proven success in implementing or upgrading procurement systems.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and gather feedback for system improvements.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks for procurement systems.
• Skills in optimizing workflows, automating processes, and enhancing user experience.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI.
• Experience designing training programs for users.
• Ability to monitor and resolve system issues collaboratively.
• Leadership experience in managing procurement systems teams.
• Strong communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Experience with large ERP and procurement systems (SAP ECC6, S/4HANA, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba).
• Desirable: Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MCIPS).
