The role is part of Invesco Real Estate\’s UK, Ireland, and Nordics Investments team based in London. The team oversees over £4 Billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Senior Associate for our Real Estate Investment Team UK, Ireland, and Nordics in London. You will partner with the Investment Manager to oversee residential real estate investments, optimize asset performance, develop asset management initiatives, analyze leasing decisions, and conduct financial analyses including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will evaluate property performance, contribute to quarterly valuations, and prepare reports.
For select assets, you may be responsible for daily operations and client deliverables as directed by the Investment Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement property operational strategies, analyze leasing decisions, oversee capital projects, and collaborate with third-party managers and stakeholders.
- Analyze valuation models (Argus, Excel), participate in acquisition/disposition processes, and manage due diligence information flow.
- Prepare financial analyses, monitor performance against budgets, and provide recommendations to enhance asset performance.
- Assist in developing annual business plans and preparing operational and capital budgets.
- Gather and analyze market reports, lease data, and transaction information.
- Help set ESG+R goals for assets and coordinate with partners to achieve these objectives.
What you can bring:
- Experience in commercial or residential real estate investments, asset management, or transactions preferred.
- Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, financial analysis, and modeling skills, proficiency in Argus, Yardi, and MS Office.
- Ability to interpret lease agreements, financial concepts, and present findings clearly.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, organization, and ability to prioritize.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
