About the Role
This is a committed, full‑time role operating across the store's service, picking, and replenishment areas. Minimum guaranteed hours: 12–16 per week (16 if possible). Availability windows: Sun 06:00‑13:45, Thu 06:00‑14:45, Sat 06:00‑13:30. You will receive three weeks' notice of exact shift times.
Responsibilities
- Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Put into practice the training received so we all work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet their needs at the right time.
- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about the store's performance, understand your part and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow our policies.
- At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
