About the site:

East Kilbride Operations produce 20 million drinks annually across 6 lines, including glass and PET bottles. It is the only UK site producing Appletiser in glass. With approximately 204 employees, this role offers potential career growth within East Kilbride and across other UK and European sites.

Role overview:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure equipment reliability through the Maintenance Plan, support maintenance efficiency, and assess machine standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis and 5 Whys to prevent breakdowns.
  • Manage six-year maintenance plans, including budgeting and OEM coordination.
  • Upskill operators and technicians via on-the-job coaching.
  • Coordinate escalation for maintenance or breakdown issues.
  • Prioritize corrective actions to mitigate risks to equipment and production.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or Degree).
  • Practical experience in machine asset care.
  • Data analysis skills for Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficiency in written English and technical instructions.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills.
