At CGI, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping the successful delivery of a nationally significant programme that supports the future of democratic processes in Scotland. As a Regional Project Manager, you will lead complex engagements across multiple Local Authorities, turning strategy into action and ensuring measurable outcomes for our public sector clients. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help drive collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence, while being trusted to take ownership of critical relationships and plans.
Supported by a strong community of experts, you will have the autonomy to make a real impact and grow your career while contributing to high-profile, purpose-driven work. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position, with 3-4 days weekly required on-site in Edinburgh.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead regional delivery engagements with Scottish Local Authorities as part of the eCounting 2027 programme.
- Plan and manage end-to-end implementations, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure clear governance, transparent reporting, and successful outcomes.
- Build deep knowledge of the eCount system and processes to support wider programme activity.
- Collaborate with peers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
- Provide team leadership across the Regional Project Manager community.
Required qualifications
- Strong project management experience within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Confidence to work closely with senior public sector leaders.
- Proven experience managing multi-site projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior level.
- Experience working within or alongside public sector organisations.
- The ability to manage suppliers and third-party dependencies.
- Excellent planning, reporting and governance capabilities.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
