Location: Rotherham
At our Advanced Blade Casting Facility (ABCF), we make critical turbine blades that go into our world-leading jet engines. It means we’re at the cutting-edge of casting and automated technology. This is a high-tech, modern space you’ll enjoy being in every day.
You’ll be fully trained to do many tasks involved in the casting process. Following technical instructions, you’ll craft patterns in wax ready for casting, operate high-tech robotic machinery, measure and check blades for defects, and gather data using digital apps. There’s a lot of attention to detail involved, but there’s also plenty of variety in what you do each day and a great sense of achievement at the end of it.
Maybe you already do a job that’s all about following processes, like being a cook or a beauty technician. Or maybe you’re into arts, crafts, DIY, or making things like models in your own time that takes an eye for detail. All these skills are really valuable to us.
You’ll get our full support and expert training to become a capable and confident Operations Team Member. Along with excellent rewards and benefits, there is the opportunity to progress to a basic salary of £36,929 + £5,400 shift allowance per year.
