About the role
As a Strategy Manager, I translate the strategy into action, implementing relevant plans brilliantly. I typically lead and/or support projects, or I am a subject matter expert. In this role, I am responsible for the overall Online strategy and delivering a number of strategic projects to help Online meet its 'North Star' ambition.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting projects to define new strategic propositions for Tesco Online based on customer needs, market trends and opportunities to increase sales & profit growth.
- Delivering and optimising proposition projects; including customer management, programme management and financial performance to deliver against the long-term and annual business plans.
- Interrogating internal and external data to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Undertaking market analysis to understand standard methodology and translating into Tesco context.
- Financial modelling to assess size of prize of opportunities and long-term growth prospects.
- Evaluating potential return on investment of strategic propositions against agreed metrics to support prioritisation in business and technology plans.
- Collaborating effectively with a number of teams including Finance, Fulfilment, Customer, Technology, Commercial and other Online Development teams.
