About the role:

A typical day involves managing projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate with clients, contractors and cross-functional teams, monitor progress, manage risks and changes, and provide regular project updates and reports. The role includes supporting business planning, developing project documentation and safety plans, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards, and driving collaboration to successfully deliver change.

A little bit about the team:

We work collaboratively across the business to deliver data-driven insights, streamline processes, and enable effective service delivery. The team is responsible for managing and assuring the quality of data requests from both internal OH stakeholders and wider business partners. We contribute to the development of clear and consistent requirements, analyse current and future workflows, and support the transition to improved ways of working. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and change planning, we ensure our services are aligned with Network Rail standards and deliver measurable benefits to the organisation.

Your experience and skills:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced project management professional with a degree or equivalent qualification and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, occupational health IT systems, and an understanding of commercial and financial principles. You will be a capable team leader, able to build collaborative relationships and motivate others to achieve results.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant successful experience in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of Occupational and safety regulations.
  • Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge.
