As a Restart Advisor you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals.
You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment, from career coaching to personal development, addressing complex challenges along the way.
- What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and set the steps needed to secure meaningful employment.
- Meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
- Understand and signpost participants to internal and external services that address needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
- Ensure participants have well‑crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements and cover letters to help them in job searches.
- Prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, helping them build confidence in their abilities.
- Maintain accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards.

- Strong experience delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation to drive positive change.
- Exceptional communication skills to inspire and influence participants while addressing their diverse needs with flexibility, robustness and creativity, and to contact employers and other external stakeholders to identify opportunities.
- Flexibility and creativity in solving complex challenges.
- Experience working in a relevant sector within the past 3 months.
- High‑level digital literacy.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
