The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
You are responsible for the management and coordination of all activities related to major incidents within VMO2, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact. You will emphasise quick recovery and effective communication to key stakeholders during major disruptions to all business impacting services. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining service continuity and ensuring the highest levels of system availability and performance.
Another key part of this role is to work alongside the Problem Management team, Enterprise team, Monitoring manager and IT Incident Management team to ensure a solid, sustainable, and well documented set of processes and procedures govern the delivery of the overall service. This is a shift-based role working a 24/7 rota.
The must haves:
- The ability to influence and drive action across technical teams & Stakeholder management
- A firm understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and confidence in your ability to deliver to a senior audience (EC and/or SLT)
- Proven experience in Major incident management roles or a related discipline
- Knowledge of managing technical projects and teams
- The ability to translate technical detail to a non-technical audience
- Previous experience collaborating across multiple business units to deliver positive outcomes
