As Senior Project Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership for complex digital and marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery of projects that enhance customer experience and strengthen our digital capabilities. You will lead a team, setting the standard for delivery excellence, fostering a culture of accountability, and championing the use of modern delivery tools. Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will translate strategic direction into tangible outcomes, with full ownership of delivery artefacts, governance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:- End-to-End Delivery Leadership β Proven ability to lead complex business transformation programmes/projects from initiation to benefits realisation, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and governance standards.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication β Experience engaging senior stakeholders (up to Executive SteerCo level), building trust, and presenting updates in governance forums such as Steering Group.
- Marketing & Digital Technology Knowledge β Familiarity with digital channel optimisation, marketing data platforms, and customer engagement strategies.
- Governance & Risk Management β Strong understanding of governance frameworks, RAID management, and risk mitigation strategies across multi-disciplinary teams and third-party dependencies.
- Agile & Change Delivery Expertise β Track record of working in fast-paced, agile environments, applying best practice methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and continuous improvement principles.
- Delivery Leadership & Excellence β Set the standard for delivery excellence, acting as a hands-on leader who resolves issues, removes blockers, and drives progress.
- Culture & Ownership β Foster a culture of accountability, challenge, and improvement within the delivery team.
- Tooling & Data-Driven Decisions β Champion the use of delivery tools (Jira highly desirable) and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Change Delivery Expertise β Proven experience as a Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager (essential), with a track record of delivering complex Digital projects or programmes.
- Team Leadership & Development β Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to provide both day-to-day direction to drive execution at pace.
- Delivery Methodologies β Hands-on expertise in delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and ability to coach others in best practice.
- Stakeholder Engagement β Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging both senior leaders, delivery teams and external third parties.
- Execution & Delivery Focus β Relentless focus on delivery, execution, and getting the job done.
- Governance & Reporting β Experience preparing and owning delivery artefacts and reporting for governance forums.
- Broad Delivery Experience β Strong delivery expertise across a range of project types.
- Third-Party Delivery Management β Proven ability to manage and collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Tools & Technology β Proficiency with delivery tools (Jira experience highly desirable).
- Industry Knowledge β Financial Services change experience is particularly desirable, especially Life & Pensions and/or Marketing & Digital change, but not essential.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) desirable.
