At CGI, you will help shape the future of digital media by leading the evolution of OpenMedia into a modern, cloud-ready newsroom platform. As Product Manager for OpenMedia Evolve, you are responsible for leading the transformation of OpenMedia from a legacy newsroom system into a modern, digital-first, cloud-ready product. You own the product vision, roadmap, and scope of delivery outcomes, working closely with design, solution architecture, delivery, and stakeholders across CGI to ensure OpenMedia Evolve becomes a market-leading newsroom platform.

This role operates at the intersection of strategy, discovery, and delivery, balancing long-term product direction with near-term execution. You will lead a product-led, agile approach in a complex transformation environment, where requirements are shaped through user research, market insight, and continuous learning.

Your future duties and responsibilities include:

  • Define & Lead the product vision and strategy aligned to commercial and investment goals
  • Discover & Validate user needs through research, SME input, and market insight
  • Own & Communicate a clear, prioritised product roadmap with dependencies and milestones
  • Work in a dual-track agile model, ensuring discovery stays ahead of delivery and features are solution architecture / technical design and build-ready at the right time
  • Collaborate & Deliver with design, architecture, engineering, and QA to enable end-to-end solutions
  • Engage & Influence senior stakeholders, customers, and delivery teams with clarity and confidence
  • Champion Quality by ensuring usability, consistency, and measurable business and user value

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You will bring strong product management experience within complex, enterprise or platform environments, with the ability to lead through ambiguity and evolving requirements. You will be comfortable working across strategy, discovery, and delivery, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You should have:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager on complex or enterprise-scale products
  • Strong expertise in agile, product-led delivery and human-centred design (HCD)
  • Experience shaping solutions with design and engineering teams from concept to release
  • Confidence operating with incomplete information and changing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills

Desirable:

  • Experience modernising legacy systems, media platforms, cloud-native or AI-enabled products
  • Ideally, but not essential, enterprise / solution architecture and technical design knowledge
  • Experience in media, broadcasting, newsroom systems, or content platforms
  • Experience modernising or transforming legacy products
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, APIs, and integration-heavy systems
  • Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven products
