As part of our Apple TV International Series Strategy team, you'll partner with the Apple TV team, cross-functional partners, International programming & development, EPs/Showrunners, talent, agencies and more to create culturally resonant, audience-first marketing strategies and robust go-to-market plans for our International Non Fiction & Scripted series.
The Apple TV Marketing Strategy team is seeking a high-performing, dynamic, creative and solution-oriented individual, who will partner closely with various teams across the organization to bring a consumer journey to life for our International Non Fiction and Scripted Series. You will be an integral part of a team working to define the strategic vision for a campaign, serve as a central cross-functional partner, handle the various workflows and oversee tactical execution for all owned, earned and paid plans, all with the goal of driving buzz, cultural resonance and ultimately, viewership for Apple TV content. This role is based in Apple's London office.
- Manage key relationship with the International Non Fiction and Scripted Series Development team based in London.
- Lead title teams as the strategic visionary and campaign quarterback driving creative briefs, positioning and strategy for Non Fiction and Scripted Series from our UK Development team.
- Drive campaigns forward with key partners including development, current, producers/creators, filmmakers and show runners.
- Assist in internal and external partner execution of multi-media creative assets that extend our content across paid, owned and earned initiatives.
- Ensure materials are aligned to series positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points.
- Support cross-functional team planning across campaigns by participating in key meetings, presentations, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals.
- Prioritise resources and manage deliverables requirements, and communicate realistic timelines for execution.
- Work in partnership with multiple Creative teams to ensure materials are aligned with the series positioning and Apple branding.
- Identify and execute brand partnerships, promotions, grassroots marketing, activations and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties and partner with Apple Ecosystem on cross-company promotions including with Apple retail, Music, News, Books, Pay, etc.
Media strategy and analytics, e.g. media mix decisioning, budgeting and forecasting, media pricing and budget optimization, return on investment, goals / measurement preferred.
Digital first mindset, with understanding of how to leverage organic social and digital spanning content creation, community and audience development.
Experience working on brand partnerships and multi-touchpoint integrations with internal teams, third parties, retail, experiential, newsletters, email, or editorial placements.
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years in consumer marketing experience across media/entertainment for both Non Fiction and Scripted series. Deep knowledge of and passion for the Non Fiction genre.
Knowledge and experience in supporting robust portfolio of creatively led 360-campaigns, from strategy to executing the tactics.
Highly-matrixed organization experience, driving cross-functional collaboration across adjacent business teams, content producers and creators.
Budget planning including working across internal teams such as creative, social, and research to track each title's budget and input through our internal systems.
Stellar Keynote and written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas simply in presentations and documents across a range of partner perspectives - from creative to business.
Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving excellent organizational, scheduling, project management, budget planning/tracking, and multi-tasking skills with proven attention to detail.
Inventive self-starter; eager to learn and grow, and bring a can-do attitude to the position.
