About the role
The salary offered for this role is up to £42,7000 plus overtime is readily available.
Working Monday – Friday Alternate shifts, 37.5 hours per week
AM shift 06:00-14:00
PM shift 13:30-21:30
Based at our Customer Fulfilment Centre in Coulsdon, our Vehicle Technician workshop team ensures our fleet of Waitrose and John Lewis vehicles remain well maintained and on the road, meaning our stock is in the right place at the right time for our customers.
As a LGV Vehicle Technician within the team, you’ll be working on a range of vehicles from our smaller Delivery Ford Transit Connects up to 3.5T Mercedes Sprinter vans. It will be your responsibility to service and repair our light vehicle fleet. You’ll also need to ensure that the workshop remains a safe environment for your colleagues and yourself.

Essential Experience/Qualifications required:
- City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
- Experience of using diagnostic tools
- A ‘C’ or ‘C+E’ driving licence is desirable, but not essential
