Role Summary

We are seeking a commercially-minded Finance Business Partner to join our Group Tech Finance team. This high-visibility role involves working closely with senior leaders across our Technology functions, influencing decisions, and driving performance. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate with stakeholders in the UK and Krakow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business partner with the Group Technology and Data Leadership Team and Banners to:
  • Understand IT cost drivers for early spend variance visibility and reactive measures
  • Identify gaps to meet financial targets and deploy recovery plans
  • Provide commercial and cost challenge to the business
  • Develop and implement strategic activities
  • Understand recharge processes from Group Tech to banners
  • Lead financial analysis to support investment decisions
  • Make Group Tech costs transparent and understandable to stakeholders
  • Ensure project spend is accurately reported and forecasted
  • Prepare business cases for Tech projects, linking to budgets and post-investment reviews

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in business-facing or commercial finance, with strong stakeholder relationship skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate financial information effectively
  • Proactive in driving efficiencies and managing change
  • Confident in presenting data to various audiences
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and change
