About the role
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us in Fareham.
Working in our distribution centres means fast‑paced environments, excellent attention to detail and the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers.
This role involves working any five days from 7, usually Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday primarily in our chilled chamber.
Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
- You will be responsible for
- Picking and packing customer orders, using a handheld terminal to understand pick expectations.
- Receiving, storing and stacking items appropriately.
- Working with the highest integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety and legal matters always top of mind.
- Participating in LLOP’s and FLT’s in operation on our sites; successful individuals will be given the opportunity to be trained in certain areas of the DC’s.
- Working within ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed in more detail during the process.
- You will need
As a warehouse operative, being flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment is essential.
You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised and enthusiastic approach.
While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential.
You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Remember, the key to success is being self‑motivated.
