This role sits within our Youth department and ensures our service users find suitable employment or remain employed.
About the role:
The Employment Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering structured pre-employment and employability training that prepares participants to secure and sustain suitable work. They deliver group-based and tailored sessions covering core workplace behaviours, confidence building, communication, CV and interview skills, job search techniques, health and safety, digital skills and wellbeing, ensuring content is accessible and adapted to different cohorts and needs.
- Design, plan and deliver engaging group-based and one-to-one employability training aligned to outcomes.
- Job search techniques and applications.
- Adapt training materials to meet a wide range of participant needs, learning styles and additional support requirements.
- Work closely with Employment Advisors to align training delivery with individual action plans and employment pathways.
- Support participants to develop work readiness, improve attendance and engagement, and overcome barriers to employment.
This role will require travel around East Midlands.
