Join our distributed team of cyber security experts, protecting our business and developing exciting capabilities on the frontline of cyber defense. Apply your passion and knowledge of cyber security to assist in the protection of corporate information. This individual will be part of the Cyber Data Protection Engineering team that is responsible for maintaining the tools and systems used to prevent and detect data compromise or loss. This individual will work closely with other members of the Information Security team and partners across the enterprise to ensure the successful delivery of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program.
The Data Protection Engineering Associate is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DLP rules, policies and workflows across various tools. They will partner with stakeholders to define DLP strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements. The associate will troubleshoot system issues as well as keep systems up-to-date with patches and upgrades.
What the ideal candidate looks like:
- 4-5 years of experience as a DLP Engineer, Security Engineer, or related role.
- Hands-on experience with DLP technologies.
- Strong background in DLP rules development and policy configuration.
- Experience executing on a data protection strategy in a large or regulated enterprise.
- University Degree.
- MBA, CISSP, CISM, GCHI, CEH, CCNA, GIAC, or other Cybersecurity certification is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of DLP/UBA concepts.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound technical, interpersonal and organizational judgment while evaluating and solving complex problems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to interact directly with individuals that do not have an IT background.
- Action-oriented attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves.
- Integrity and the highest ethical standards.
- Courage of convictions and the ability to respectfully debate the status quo.
