About the Role:
We are hiring a Director to join the Apple Services Client Leadership and Planning team in London. This is an opportunity to be part of the team responsible for Apple Services internationally (EMEA & APAC) and work on one of the world’s most iconic brands. Apple Services is an exciting and growing part of Apple’s business and this role will be focused on services such as Apple Music, App Store, iCloud, Apple Arcade, Apple Pay and more.
The role will coordinate all aspects of media planning, including Strategy, Planning & Execution, as well as Reporting & Insights, with a particular focus on digital and performance media. As we continue to grow our central digital activation hub based in London, a deep understanding of digital and performance activation will be crucial to success.
The Director will be responsible for developing a strong relationship with a range of Global and Local clients, becoming an extension of their team, building trust and collaboration and ensuring all clients are prioritised. They will also connect regularly with OMD local teams all over the world, ensuring a clear strategy, the highest possible standards, and best practice sharing across Services internationally – with a particular focus on Japan, Korea and China, as well as the top European markets.
The OMD (media) team sits at a separate office location alongside the creative agency for Apple. Interest in broader communication and creative development is a must. This is a fast-paced environment, working and connecting with some of the industry’s best marketing and advertising professionals around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with several key clients and strategic stakeholders.
- Take a leading role in managing the Services Planning & Digital teams across day-to-day work, priorities and campaign planning and activation.
- Oversee planners and channel teams to ensure a holistic approach and view for clients.
- Create and input to campaign strategies for central and local briefs.
- Maintain knowledge of local market landscapes, media developments and the digital ecosystem to inform strategy and execution.
- Build smart processes and ways of working that streamline and centralise workflows.
- Think long term about the media landscape and opportunities, bringing ideas internally and to clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with relevant partners to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Continually strive to be best in class across everything we do.
