- Reporting Line & Organizational Context
- Reports to: Regional Head of Tax (with functional alignment to Global Tax).
- Organizational placement: Part of the Global Tax Function; operates in a matrix with Country Finance/Controllers and Business Leadership.
- Scope: All direct and indirect tax matters for the GBI Zone (UK and Ireland).
- What You\'ll Lead
- End-to-end tax strategy and ownership across all direct and indirect taxes.
- A high-performing regional team, fostering inclusion, growth, and accountability.
- Digital transformation of tax, including SAP/S4, automation, analytics, and scalable operating models.
- Strategic advisory on business models, cross-border flows, supply chain, M&A, and commercial initiatives.
- Compliance excellence, ensuring accurate provisions, filings, and audit outcomes.
- Risk management and governance, strengthening controls and documentation across the Zone.
- Stakeholder leadership, partnering with Finance, Legal, SSCs, and external advisors.
What You Bring
- 8-12+ years in multinational tax or Big4, with proven people leadership.
- Deep expertise in direct/indirect tax and IFRS reporting.
- Strong experience with SAP and digital tax solutions.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on ownership, resilience, and integrity.
- Ability to influence in a matrix and inspire diverse teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
