The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Architect - ITSM Evolution to drive the evolution of the organisational capabilities and processes in alignment with the VMO2 strategy. This is a key role ensuring we have plans and initiatives to evolve and modernise our service capabilities utilising Data, Cloud, AI, and Automation.
This role would be well suited to an individual who spans Business Architecture/Business Transformation and Service Management including ITSM tools. We need a candidate with a proven track record of defining and implementing Service Operating Models, designing governance frameworks, and leading service transitions that enable seamless, high-quality service delivery.
You will be a strategic thinker and have strong communication skills (presenting at SLT level) and business architecture understanding to understand the systems, people and capabilities today to be able to provide an architectural steer on these tools and capabilities (Automation, AI, Knowledge Management) and drive this throughout the Technology and Service Operations teams.
Within VMO2 we are working with Remedy, BMC (Helix), GCP, CMDB, Atlassian and experience with these would be advantageous though not essential.
The must haves:
- Proven experience of developing clear operational strategies and are able to build a story around the transformation roadmap both verbally and written.
- Awareness or understanding of the organisational capabilities and business processes used in service management to be able to provide an architectural steer on ITSM tools and capabilities (Automation, AI, Knowledge Management).
- Experience of successfully leading a Service Management and/or IT transformation plan.
- Strong understanding in the use of Cloud, Data, Automation and AI.
- Foundations to utilise AI - either commercial experience or a deep interest.

- Commercial acumen - a robust understanding of the business, financial management, regulatory environment and external influences to ensure effective strategic decision-making.
