About The Role

Job Summary Responsibilities

  • To work with the General Manager, OSS, Beijing and other staff in Knight Frank to plan, implement and build a sustainable, profitable and reputable business.
  • To ensure that Knight Frank is the premier provider of office agency services in Beijing.
  • Achieving annual KPIs agreed is one of the responsibilities of the role.
  • Drive our tenant representation and corporate real estate functions in Beijing by expanding our client base, growing revenues, controlling costs, and increasing our range of services.
  • Ensure processes are put in place to continually improve operating efficiency, effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for market and sector analysis, development of client specific pursuit and delivery strategies and sales management.
  • Secure local and Pan-China agency and transaction mandates from domestic and international clients.
  • To work with the General Manager, OSS, Beijing, other Department Heads and business development staff to plan, implement and strategically manage the promotion of our agency and professional services to clients.
  • Develop clear processes and procedures that maintain quality, ensure internal compliance and facilitate transactions.
  • Work closely with agency teams in China, Regional and Global offices to ensure a consistent and best practice approach to all new business activities.
  • Ensure the agency departments respond appropriately to changes in regulation and markets.
  • Ensure the function makes a positive financial contribution to the firm for the client services it provides.
  • Manage the team to ensure staff retention, growth and engagement and establish strong working relationships with related internal business lines.
  • Support regional business development activities at country level including major global, regional and local RFP's.
  • Work closely with Research and Marketing Departments to improve the quality of data and marketing materials.
  • Undertake all relevant tasks as directed by the Board that would normally be associated with such a role.

Financial Reporting

  • Take responsibility for certain clients/prospects and associated revenue target, and co-ordinate preparation of budget and expenditure/income forecasts.
  • Review performance to business plan regularly and recommend modifications as appropriate.

The Business and Internal Customers

  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the firm's business.
  • Develop relationships with all key personnel in Knight Frank's organization in Asia Pacific.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor Degree or above in real estate, business or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years' experience in real estate industry.
  • Holder of Estate Agent's license preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer-service mindset; good negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated, aggressive, results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
