We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning AI initiatives with business goals, developing scalable AI architectures and ensuring seamless integration across systems, data sources and workflows. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, strategic vision and cross-functional leadership to drive innovation and digital transformation.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy in alignment with business and IT objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite, business units and technology leaders to identify AI opportunities
- Design scalable, secure and resilient AI/ML solutions and frameworks across the enterprise
- Develop reference architectures and best practices for AI integration, deployment and lifecycle management
- Oversee the integration of AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, data platforms and cloud services
- Ensure data governance, model interpretability and compliance (e.g. GDPR, ethical AI standards)
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and vendors, make recommendations on adoption and implementation
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide thought leadership in enterprise AI adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams on AI architecture, tooling and frameworks
- Bridge communication between data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders
- Define AI governance frameworks to manage model drift, bias and performance monitoring
- Establish guardrails for ethical and responsible AI usage
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, projects specifically in AI/ML systems design
- Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong experience with data architecture, pipelines and governance (e.g., data lakes, ETL, MLOps)
- Knowledge of regulatory and ethical considerations in AI systems
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification
- Experience deploying AI solutions at scale in industries such as finance, healthcare or retail
- Understanding of GenAI (e.g. LLMs), NLP, computer vision or reinforcement learning
- Experience with containerisation, orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD for ML
